Cornucopia Gardens was started in 2005 on the Hack farm, 2 miles South of Rocanville, SK. It is the goal of Cornucopia Gardens to provide quality vegetables, fruits, flowers and Christmas trees grown locally on our farm in Rocanville for the local and surrounding communities. We chose the name Cornucopia as it is a symbol of abundance and nourishment associated with Thanksgiving.
Operations of Cornucopia Gardens are overseen by owners Heather and Tim Graham. Heather earned a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (Major: Horticulture, Minor: Agri-business) from the U of S and has worked in the horticulture industry for many years. Tim has a farm background and has studied mechanics and has worked in the farming, mechanics and construction industry for many years. Tim & Heather enjoy working with their two children John who was born in 2012, and Karolina who was born in 2015.
To date, there are a total of approximately 25 acres under production at Cornucopia Gardens. In the 12,000 square feet of greenhouses we grow a variety of fruit, vegetables and flowers. We also have our vegetable fields where we grow fresh vegetables in season and then store through the winter. We also have our Christmas tree fields where we grow Christmas trees for you Choose we Cut sales before Christmas.
Cornucopia Gardens employs up to 10 local people each season and is proud to strengthen our local community. We hire a diverse group of high school students, university students and adults. We value our employees and are truly thankful for all they contribute to our business.
